THE JAZZ EAST JUBILEE
Celebrating 70 Years of Great Jazz in Great Britain in honour of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II's Platinum Jubilee, we're equally honoured to have been commissioned by the London Borough of Barking & Dagenham to curate the first ever Jazz Festival in the Town Centre ruins of Barking Abbey, in East London's fastest growing borough on Saturday 4th June 2022.

We're working on a cunning plan...
Buying a ticket grants access to our world-class Leytonstone Ballroom Stage, upstairs at the infamous The Red Lion Leytonstone.
Here you'll be privy to watch performances from MANY of the UK's best live jazz acts and between each act, we've timed it so you can see yet more bands downstairs on our Free Stage....phew....that's a lot of bands in ONE day!
The Red Lion Stage goes live from Midday to 5pm & without any ticket purchase neccessary. However, the bar and restaurant will of course be open so you'll need to book a table & buy a drink at least !
Locally-grown new & established jazz acts will perform some amazing new sounds from across East London..... the RIGHT side of London...all completely FREE!
World class, home-grown live jazz music comes to East London at Jazz East, THE East London Jazz Festival.
The Ballroom Stage presents some of the UK's best known Jazz acts launching new albums, premiering newly penned material and piloting exciting and unique new projects, not yet seen before !
...and there's FREE MUSIC too from top-notch local jazz musicians on our family friendly Red Lion Community Free Stage .
